Sailors take warning.
I love the quiet time before the city rouses itself. No horns, no sirens, only ths soft sounds of sleep slinking off.
I loved it that this couple was totally unaware of anything but themselves. You could have set a bomb off next to them and they wouldn’t have heard it.
I’ve got a confession to make and it’s a little embarrassing, living as I do in a city. New York has too much everything. Too many people, too much noise, too much traffic, too many things to do…too much, too much, too damn much! One could also say it’s got too many picture worthy places.
…but I won’t.
Coply Square on a nice day presents a wonderful photograph opportunity. This shot was taken from the steps of the Boston Public Library looking across the square toward Trinity Church. A tight cluster of tourists had assembled to listen to their guide and presented a perfect foreground element.
As usual I had at the ready my trusty Ricoh GR with its fixed 28mm lens. All it took is one shot.
