In good old USA, the richest country on earth, there is terrible inequality. To me this means that we are approaching a time when this disparity of wealth will become a dangerous problem. I’m not going to go on with this political rant any longer. Suffice it to say this photograph made me think of it.
I’m hoping this image helps to underline my point.
We went to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts today and I took a hell of a lot of photographs. In the end though, what came out of that trip is how terribly hard it is to really see anything clearly.
I shot this today at the MFA’s world famous Matisse exhibit. This little ked was having the time of his life. He was not necessarily a Matisse fan but he most certainly was an artist in his own right.
We’ve got a great one going on here in Boston. It’s huge but what makes it so damn interesting is that it includes many of the objects he lived with and used as “subjects” of his paintings. The man was a creative giant. His energy and intelligence were staggering. If you’re in this area by all means go see this one.
The pictures above are the result of a wonderful morning we spent in the Boston Museum of Fine Art.
