Time For A Digital Detox!

It may be COVID preventing us from our usual personal get-togethers or maybe it’s just the ever increasing dominance of social media and other digital distractions but, whatever is causing us to retreat into that bundle of metal and silicon in our pockets or purses is slowly driving us mad.

I spent my early years in Massachusetts in a little town called Easton. I went to Harvard, served in the Navy as Operations Officer on and LST, founded a construction company and served in the state Legislature as Assistant Minority Leader.
However my life really began when I moved to Maine and opened an art gallery.
I've been around the fine arts in the commercial art business for over 25 years now and loved (almost) every minute of it.

I look at every day is a gift, except when it's very cold outside or I have to go to the dentist.

I will tell you, Covid has gotten me into the habit of checking emails or just surfing on the web which I had never done before… This photo scares me a bit because I use to smile at such people, and now I am becoming one :-/ Great shot of the times ~

We currently live in the middle of Boston in a tiny condo. As the pandemic starts to worsen again, the walls are closing in, the internet is filled with poison and rational dialog is becoming impossible. Luckily our windows face south.
Sunrise and sunset can be quite lovely.

I'd love to hear from you
