No Exit…Yet

I’m posting this image simply as photograph I’m fond of, as well as a visual commentary on our current covid-19 locked down situation. Leaving aside the current corona virus pandemic, I like the way the line on the floor leads to the locked gate with its sign. The leading lines are nice and I like the way the light fades in the distance.

Switching to the photograph as commentary, currently the world is in a dark place. The end of these hard times are dimly in view but a clear vision of what’s ahead still is far from clear.

Bowtie Wearer With Bad Knees I spent my early years in Massachusetts in a little town called Easton. I went to Harvard, served in the Navy as Operations Officer on and LST, founded a construction company and served in the state Legislature as Assistant Minority Leader. However my life really began when I moved to Maine and opened an art gallery. I've been around the fine arts in the commercial art business for over 25 years now and loved (almost) every minute of it. I look at every day is a gift, except when it's very cold outside or I have to go to the dentist.

  1. The “end” may not be clearly lit, yet, but most everyone has experienced what lockdown means to the human spirit. Can we envision a world where other strategies can replace imprisonment?

I'd love to hear from you
