Digital Overload?

There’s a wonderful place in Boston called the News Feed Cafe. It’s located right off the entrance to the new wing of our main public library. Beside serving good coffee, tea and tasty snacks, it contains a fully functioning radio and TV studio of our Public Broadcasting station WGBH.

I go there often for a quick java and to rest for a while before heading back home. Lately I’ve been struck by this somewhat odd and distinctly heady confluence of printed thought and our contemporary torrent of digital information.

This guy looks to me as if he’s been caught in the crossfire.

Bowtie Wearer With Bad Knees I spent my early years in Massachusetts in a little town called Easton. I went to Harvard, served in the Navy as Operations Officer on and LST, founded a construction company and served in the state Legislature as Assistant Minority Leader. However my life really began when I moved to Maine and opened an art gallery. I've been around the fine arts in the commercial art business for over 25 years now and loved (almost) every minute of it. I look at every day is a gift, except when it's very cold outside or I have to go to the dentist.

I'd love to hear from you
