My 10,000 Steps Yesterday

Walking is good exercise. That’s pretty much a given. One’s daily wanderings can be enhanced greatly by carrying a camera. Here is my harvest from yesterday.

I met this guy while I was watching a gathering of people celebrating something called “4/20”. You don’t know what “4/20” is? I certainly didn’t. My friend here said, “It’s a pot celebration day, man. Look how mellow these folks are.” They certainly were.

We have a lot of asian tourists here in Boston. Unlike some cities in the far east our air is really pretty clean. However this lady was taking absolutely no chances.

Finally there was this somewhat overweight young dancer practicing her pirouettes in a small side street.

It was a pretty good haul. I don’t normally get this lucky.

Bowtie Wearer With Bad Knees I spent my early years in Massachusetts in a little town called Easton. I went to Harvard, served in the Navy as Operations Officer on and LST, founded a construction company and served in the state Legislature as Assistant Minority Leader. However my life really began when I moved to Maine and opened an art gallery. I've been around the fine arts in the commercial art business for over 25 years now and loved (almost) every minute of it. I look at every day is a gift, except when it's very cold outside or I have to go to the dentist.

I'd love to hear from you
