Trees vs The Push For Profit

Here in Florida, commerce would seem to top the environment  almost every time. Swamps get drained and acres bulldozed, as “king sugar” and rapacious real estate development continue to destroy what little is left of the natural world. As one who likes to see places where man hasn’t messed up, this place can be very depressing.

  1. That is depressing indeed. Unfortunately the chase money brings a selfish drive. Me, me, me, money, money, money. Quite simple isn’t it? You don’t have to be sophisticated to get rich, I think you truly trade a bit of your soul for money..

Happy Sunday, hope you have a great week ahead!

    • Obviously one needs enough money to live.Too much beyond that and I’m afraid, for many it can become an addiction.

      • It is. When I was still in university I was fine. Just made enough money to pay my bills and buy enough booze. I’ve been wokring for the past four years and the more I make, the more I want. Getting greedy is easy I guess.

        Kind regards,

I'd love to hear from you
