Borax Dreams

DSC00278small

There is a ghost town in the Death Valley area, called Rhyolite. It was once a booming place of 6000 miners and their families. When the borax mines went bust around 1917 the place withered and died. All that is left now are wind scarred wood and crumbling walls. Yet the place still contains echoes of  long ago voices and broken dreams.
